Travel Receiving Clerk

Position: Receiving Clerk
Assignment Type: Travel / Task Force
Location: Mount Washington, NH
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Receiving Clerk to join our hospitality team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will assist with receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring supplies are properly handled and distributed throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips.

• Check incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and any damages or discrepancies.

• Organize and store received items in the appropriate areas.

• Maintain accurate receiving and inventory records.

• Coordinate with vendors, purchasing, kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments as needed.

• Ensure deliveries are handled safely and efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving and storage areas.

• Follow property standards for safety, sanitation, and inventory control.

• Assist with moving and distributing supplies throughout the property as needed.

• Support additional operational duties based on the property's staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, resort, warehouse, receiving, inventory, or related experience preferred.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to accurately check and document deliveries.

• Comfortable lifting, moving, and organizing supplies as required.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to assist with other duties as needed.

Assignment Details

• $17.00/hour

• Weekly pay

• Task Force / travel opportunity

• Travel expenses to and from the client facility are covered
