The world can't wait.You Have:7+ years of experience working in hardware design, prototyping, 3D modeling, and computer-aided design ( CAD )Experience with engineering sof tware, including Creo, Creo Simulation, or multiphysics sof twareKnowledge of engineering and physics principles as they apply to hardware design and product developmentAbility to develop technical documentation, including technical drawings and written technical documentationAbility to collaborate with an integrated product team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammatesAbility to travel up to 25% of the timeAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringNice If You Have:Experience with prototyping and integration related to electromechanical systemsExperience designing large electro-mechanical systems and sub-modulesExperience with finite element analysis ( FEA ) or modeling and simulation activitiesExperience with lab-based developmental testing and test data acquisitionKnowledge of product design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, injection molding, ruggedization, and exposure to extreme environmentsAbility to perform systems verification and validationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
